Yoga in the New Forest



"Had a really good yoga lesson in my living room with Ruth who is lovely and I felt very comfortable with her. She asked lots of questions upfront and created a routine for me on some cards for me to keep. I made additional notes as we went through it all, adjusting according to what I could or could not do, given my inflexibility, the tear in my shoulder and that my S shaped spine complains if I do any bending back so I really gave her a challenge. After a few sessions on my own at home we tweaked the routine via email which keeps my back from grumbling. My tree pose balance improves each time. I look forward to a follow up session later in the year as I develop my practice more. I recommend a 1-1 session as you get so much more out of your yoga then as it is geared to what you want t o achieve and the limitations of your body. She also gave me a wonderful meditation to do which awakens my creativity (after not painting for years I did three that weekend) and gives my brain that freshly showered and ready to go feeling."
